Who doesn’t love tiny things? My first attempt at miniature pottery was a mini teapot. I loved it so much, and decorated it with teeny tiny little pink flowers and blue dots. I will probably keep it forever. From there, my mini obsession was born.
I started making assorted mini pots in various shapes and colors and would take them to craft shows in a big basket, so people could sort through them to mix and match. Those have become one of my most popular sellers both online and at craft shows. They’re cute, fun and accessible. Everyone loves picking through the basket and imagining all the things they can make with them.
I started the mini of the month in 2019 after several people had asked me at craft shows if I could make specialty items – tiny mugs with handles, little pitchers, etc. So, I started making a specialty mini each month. If you have a suggestion for what kind of minis I should make each month, please reach out.
