March Meet the Maker – Day 8
This is a both a strength and weakness for me. I have a very diverse range of products in my current inventory, from pet treat jars to nesting bowls, mugs to planters, trinket dishes to miniatures. It makes it difficult to set up booth at a craft show. Usually all I have is a 6 to 8 foot table, so I have to make decisions about which collections/products would be best at that event, which often results in a customer saying “hey do you have that thing with you that I saw on Instagram?” … and I sometimes don’t. 😞
But, my range also makes my custom work game strong. Whether it’s a big candy bowl that looks like a Mario warp pipe, a bird bath, a boy-approved mini tea service, wedding favors, or a slow feeding dish with your dog’s name on it (⬅️ all actual custom requests I’ve fulfilled) — I’ll make it for you! And sometimes those custom requests spawn new ideas that end up in my shop!)
The moral of the story is: 1. I specialize in made to order work, so please contact me if you have an idea! And 2. If you see something on Instagram you want to get at a show, send me a message — I’ll get it in your hands.
Meanwhile, I’m going to keep writing down all my ideas, and the ones you have shared with me. I can’t make them all right now, but I’ll get to it eventually! Thanks for your continued support and encouragement. It’s appreciated more than you know. ❤️
