I take on custom projects large and small. It just takes time.
Whether you want a simple mug in your choice of colors, a dog dish imprinted with your beloved pet’s name, favors for your wedding or a huge serving bowl custom made to match your party theme, I can help you bring it to life. Certainly, I have limitations, but contact me or fill out the form at the bottom of this page and we can discuss your project.
How long does it take?
Custom orders may be placed year-round, though work is completed in batches. Send me a message to inquire about availability and timeline for the next batch.
Work may be produced outside of my normal schedule for a rush order fee. Rush orders are taken on a case-by-case basis.
How does it work?
Contact me to discuss your project – whether its succulent pots for your wedding favors, a complete set of dinnerware for your new home or remodeled kitchen, or a special mug for your bestie. We’ll talk through the specifics and timeline and I’ll give you a price quote. Prices are calculated based on time and materials costs.
You may order Riverlane Studios designs from a collections I’ve discontinued, or a variation on one of my designs (ex: a planter or wine tumbler based on a mug design). Or maybe you want a design I usually do with a slight variation (ex: an Ohio mug with your hometown written on it, rather than “Ohio”). These items will be subject to a 10% custom fee.
Once we’ve agreed upon timeline and price, I’ll send you a payment invoice. Payment of at least 50% must be made before work will begin. You’ll receive a deadline for your final payment as well. If your payments are delayed, it could impact the delivery time of your piece.
There may be limits to the type of work I can or will do. I will not, under any circumstances, reproduce the work of another artist. You may send me inspiration photos to help identify desired shapes and styles, but your item will be designed within my aesthetic.
I will complete your project based on the timelines listed above. Any work outside of these schedule restraints will be subject to rush fees.
What does it cost?
Prices are calculated based on time and materials, and may have a wide range. A custom mug, for example, starts at $30, and could cost up to $100, depending on the detail and materials used. Most custom mugs are $35-40, but could cost more.
All orders are subject to applicable sales tax, as required by law. Shipping will be billed at cost, and a small handling fee may be assessed if the item is an odd shape or difficult to package safely.
